“Wild Butterflies”

Katherine F. Green’s Wild Butterflies is the tender story of a multi-generational family longing for love in difficult circumstances and the people who teach them what love really means.

Rita Angell has been angry for as long as she could remember. Certainly, the burden of raising a grandchild doesn’t help. If only she could unearth some peace and, maybe, a little companionship.

Bill Angell wants to raise his daughter himself. Yet, how can a single man still looking for a good woman care for a child on his own? What if something happens to her? What if the wrong person approaches her?

Nine-year-old Cory Angell has butterflies, but that’s nothing new. They are always there flitting and flapping, reminding her how she doesn’t fit in, that no one wants her, no one loves her, and that monsters aren’t just make-believe.
