LaKeisha Florence had two dreams growing up. The first was to wear a business suit.

Unsure of a specific career to accompany the suit, Florence followed the business track at Cass Technical High School and fell in love with accounting. Later, her teacher invited a guest from Deloitte & Touche LLP to speak.

“I knew then I wanted to work for Deloitte,” Florence said. Once there, her passion for education garnered notice.
